Bereavement Program

Understanding Grief and Loss:  An 8 week educational bereavement support group will be held on Tuesdays from February 24 until April 28 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.  Sponsored by St. Pius Parish, sessions will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption in Latham.  It is adapted from Windows: Healing and Helping Through Loss.  The sessions will be co-facilitated by Sr. Eleanor Guerin and Jeanne Pitkin.  Registration is necessary and limited.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

If you or someone you know is interested in giving back to the community through volunteer service, consider becoming a Eucharistic Minister for Saint Peter’s Hospital.  The commitment is only one hour per week.  Training will be provided by the hospital’s Spiritual Care Staff.  If interested contact Elizabeth Romand, Volunteer Recruiter, at 525-1002.
